Local Tips

We’ve gathered some of our favorite spots for you to enjoy while you’re up in the Highlands. If you can stay for a few extra days outside of the wedding (which we hope you can!), we highly recommend venturing further to the Isle of Skye and Glen Affric.

Food & Drinks

The Glenelg Inn

Our favorite Scottish pub offers fantastic food with options for all, including vegetarians and vegans. With a roaring fireplace, it’s a must-visit. Book in advance—it's often fully booked

Dun Brewing Tap Room

The very beer we've selected to share with you at our wedding is from a brewery that's definitely worth a visit. You can try out their beer and enjoy wood-fired pizzas on occasion (check their social media or give them a call to confirm their current food offerings).

The Original Skye Ferry

Don’t just visit Skye – journey there. Embark on the MV Glenachulish, where cars pivot with precision on the world's last manually operated turntable ferry to Skye. At over 50 years old, she still turns heads and makes waves, proving that age is merely a number when you’re this unique.
