FAQ
When is the wedding?
The wedding is on Saturday, May 10th, 2025 at Druidaig Lodge.
The ceremony will start promptly at 3:30pm.
Please plan to arrive between 3:00-3:30pm.
We’re also hosting a casual welcome dinner on Friday (6pm - 9pm) and a farewell brunch on Sunday (12:30pm - 4pm) where everyone is welcome to join. Please do not feel obliged if it does not fit your travel schedule.
How do I RSVP?
You can RSVP online here!
What is the best airport to fly into?
The best airport to fly into is Inverness Airport, as it's only a 2-hour drive to Letterfearn. Alternatively, you can fly into Edinburgh or Glasgow, which are both about a 4-hour drive. We'd also encourage those traveling from within the UK to look into train and car options.
Should I rent a car?
We would highly recommend renting a car with a few friends, as it is not easy to get around the Highlands without one. You can definitely make it work, if you plan ahead and pre-book taxis and tours, but a car provides you with the flexibility to explore on your own terms.
For all of our American and European friends, please remember that in Scotland we drive on the left side of the road. Here is a helpful article about driving in The Highlands where you can learn about single track roads and passing places — And if you haven’t done it before, trust me, it’s not as scary as it sounds!
Where should I stay?
Please have a look at the travel page on our website for recommendations. If you have any trouble finding accommodation or need a hand with booking, don’t hesitate to send us an email: morganandbrad2025@gmail.com
Can I bring a date?
We love you all, but unfortunately, our list is quite restricted due to the nature of the location. If your date's name is not explicitly written on the invitation, they are unfortunately not invited.
Are kids welcome?
As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception on Saturday. However, we recognize that some of you will be traveling with your kids, so please know they are welcome at the Friday dinner and Sunday brunch. We are also happy to help you find a local babysitting service during the ceremony if you need a hand.
What will the weather be like?
To those of you who haven't spent time in the Highlands, the weather can be quite unpredictable. Please check the forecast in the days leading up and come prepared for possible wet or cool conditions. While the average temperature in Letterfearn on May 10th typically ranges from 6°C (43°F) to 14°C (57°F), and there will be heating in the dinner marquee, the ceremony will be exposed to the elements, so we recommend bringing an extra layer to stay comfortable.
Where should I park?
Please drive straight up to the venue, and our ushers will show you where to leave your car upon arrival. We would recommend most of you take taxis or carpool, as there is limited space for parking, and it would require a 5-10 minute walk.
What should I wear?
For the wedding, the dress code is Black Tie optional.
This means we would love to see you in a black tuxedo or full-length dress (of any color), but we understand that not everyone has this in their closet already. Here’s a great article to sum up what we’re looking for.
Please avoid stiletto shoes with thin heals. You will be walking through grass at certain moments, and we wouldn't want you to ruin nice shoes or twist any ankles. Something like like a block heel, wedge, or flat would be perfectly!
What color are the bridesmaids wearing?
They will be in different shades of green (olive, moss, hunter, army, etc.). You are absolutely welcome to wear green as well, but I know some people like to know this beforehand.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
If the weather permits, our wedding ceremony will be outdoors, but our reception will be in a covered marquee/tent. We will have heaters for the marquee for when the temperature drops in the evening.
What’s the deal with the shuttle bus?
